This theoretical training is aimed for Marine Engineers and Technical Staff who are involved in operation and supervision of the electronically controlled RT-Flex Technology (RT-Flex, W-X and W-X DF) engines. The course takes into consideration the common engine control system WECS and UNIC with peripherical and auxiliary systems. 
Objectives
In-depth understanding of electronically controlled RT-Flex Technology (RT-Flex, W-X and W-X DF) engines features, including dual fuel systems, engine components, and the functionality of all engine systems. 

Practical experience drawn from real-world fleet operations, covering topics such as guarantee claims, common issues, frequent failures, troubleshooting methods, and repair procedures. 

A specific focus on the engine control system (WECS and UNIC) and its integration into essential engine systems, such as the common rail system, fuel and servo oil supply systems, fuel injection, and cylinder lubrication. 
Certification
The learning objectives are subject to a short test at the end of the course and participants will receive a BST certificate after successful completion.
